    External operation possible

    An extraction mode cooker hood can also be operated with an external blower outside the cooker hood; for instance, on the outside wall of the home or on the roof. External installation of the motor also means it can be installed where it causes the least nuisance. For a significant reduction in noise levels, the ducting system should be at least 5–7 m long. Exception: For the DA 6890, the internal blower can be converted to an external one using the DEXT 6890 conversion kit (only internally).
